Changes between this knife and the issued knife
- Reverse is engraved with Nomad Mk4 instead of the NATO code ZU1-101 (which only appears on knives issued to the ADF under Contract Land 159/Land 300).
- The NSN is THE SAME for both the issued knife and the civilian version, but it is only engraved on the civilian version via laser engraving
- The acetal sheath has the NSN engraved on the back of it for the civilian version, the issued version has a NATO part code.
- The nylon cover on the civilian version is Multicam. The nylon cover on the issued knife is AMCU (Australian Multi Cam) which is restricted to ADF/CoA issued equipment.
- The civilian version comes in a presentation box with a foam cutout and magnetic closure, the issued version has CoA approved packaging.
- There are no other differences. Both are made from Uddeholm Rigor tool steel, dimensions are identical, they are Cerakoted in Black (specified on the description for the NSN product), both have an Acetal machined sheath that are an exact match (excluding the engraving mentioned above). Both are also doubled edged.
